The first year of the 2017-18 legislative session has concluded and the Government Relations team was hard at work representing your interests in Sacramento.

The Governor recently signed ACSA supported AB 170 (O’Donnell) to allow universities to design education majors for prospective teachers. AB 170 will become law on January 1, 2018.

ACSA has been working with CSBA, CASH, Small School Districts Association and CA School Nutritionists Association, to educate Cal EPA about the impact of their recycling regulations on school districts.
