Send a letter on your district's letterhead today!

The United States Senate is proposing changes to healthcare, including the Medicaid program. Among the many changes in the American Health Care Act, AHCA, is a significant cut to Medicaid, cutting funds for our most vulnerable students. Earlier today, ACSA was contacted by California U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein’s office seeking your help. Senator Feinstein is asking ACSA members to send a letter to her in opposition of the proposed cuts to Medicare. Specifically, she has asked for:

• A letter of opposition using your district or school letterhead;
• Your letter to be emailed to her staff:
  • Crystal Martinez at crystal_martinez(at)feinstein.senate.gov and
  • Andrew Fuentes at andrew.fuentes(at)feinstein.senate.gov

We have provided a sample letter for your use. Simply put your title and name of district/school into the body of the letter.
